Burners Won’t Ignite:
Clicking with no flame, or an electric burner that never heats up, usually points to a bad igniter or coil.
Uneven or Inconsistent Heat:
Hot spots or slow heating make cooking unpredictable and often trace back to a faulty element or sensor.
Cracked or Damaged Glass Top:
A chip or crack in the surface is a safety hazard and rarely something to patch yourself.
Knobs That Won’t Turn or Click:
Loose, stuck, or unresponsive knobs usually mean a worn switch behind the control panel.
Burning Smell or Sparks:
Any spark, smoke, or scorched smell means it’s time to shut the cooktop off and call for help.
Won’t Power On at All:
No response from any burner can point to a wiring issue, a blown fuse, or a failed control board.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
A few things homeowners often ask before booking a cooktop repair with us.
One call gets a licensed technician to your door — often the same day. Let's get every burner working again before dinner.
Our diagnostic fee is $99, which covers the technician’s travel and expert evaluation of your appliance. However, if you proceed with our recommended repair, this $99 fee is fully waived—meaning your diagnostic is completely free!
Usually it’s a worn igniter, a clogged burner port, or a wiring issue — all quick fixes for a technician, but not something we’d recommend troubleshooting yourself on a gas appliance.
We don’t recommend it. A crack can expose wiring or let liquid seep into electrical components, creating a shock or fire risk — better to have it inspected before using it again.
We do — induction cooktops have their own quirks, like faulty sensors or pan-detection issues, and our technicians are equipped to handle them alongside standard gas and electric models.
Not usually, unless the unit is quite old or the damage is extensive. Most cooktop repairs cost a fraction of replacement — we’ll give you a straight answer after diagnosing the issue.
